Our client is a quoted international group that specialises in providing engineering services to the energy industry. Operating across the globe they are recognised as one of the leaders in their area of expertise.
The global tax department is based in London and provides support and advice across all the regions and has responsibility for setting tax policy, managing group reporting and compliance.
Due to the continued growth of the group a vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Tax Manager to join the team.
Reporting to the Head of Tax Reporting you will have the following responsibilities:
? Assist with the tax reporting process at quarter and year end.
? Review and sign off the tax charge for the UK group?s CT compliance.
? Manage the outsourced UK group?s UK tax compliance.
? Assist with the maintenance of the group?s tax policies.
? Assist on ad ? hoc projects.
The role provides the opportunity for significant international exposure.
Candidates will have the following attributes:
? Ideally ACA/CTA qualified with significant international experience.
? Good organisational and project management ability.
? IFRS and international experience would be advantageous but not essential.
? A strong accounting background would be preferred.
