This newly created role will see you assume responsibility for the group's customs duty compliance as well as advising the business on issues relating to customs. This exciting business currently imports c?200 million worth of goods and it is envisaged that this figure is likely to increase over the next few years. Further aspects of the role will include:
- Working with the business to identify, assess and facilitate duties opportunities, promoting best practice and knowledge sharing.
- Ensuring correct classification is held in the group's systems for all products.
- Assist in Intrastat report production.
- Perform periodic review of customs compliance prepared by import agent.
