In 2007, a new Group Tax Director was appointed with a remit to modernise and commercialise the group tax function. This resulted in the recruitment of a new Head of Indirect Tax who is now looking to strengthen the team by hiring a Customs Duty Manager.
The role
This is a new role and will report to the Head of Indirect Taxes to develop the global customs duties management strategy and ensure it remains consistent with Group Tax strategy.
As the Corporate Centre duties specialist you will:
?Provide a comprehensive duties advisory service to the business as the Corporate Centre duties specialist.
?Work with the business to identify, assess and facilitate duties opportunities and promoting best practice and knowledge sharing.
?Ensure that the business maintains a high level of compliance with customs legislation.
?Promote best practice and knowledge sharing.
