This exciting role is for the position of Tax Risk Director. Due to the seniority of this position the appointee will be required to collaborate directly with the Director of Taxes, Internationally and other members of the global Tax team. This role is as challenging as it is rewarding due to the seniority of the role and the responsibility of the position. Due to new FSA & HMRC regulation this bank is in need of someone who has work in a senior level and dealt with these new issues and legislations. Largely risk and HMRC compliance based the position requires excellent knowledge in tax risk management strategy and the ability to identify and assess risks across the Group. An integral part of the role is the understanding and interrogation of financial data combined with core consultancy expertise in project management, problem solving and customer coaching. It also requires strategic thinking combined with the ability to successfully monitor and evaluate new legislations within the international sector. You must also have excellent knowledge and experience of working with HMRC as all major enquires and issues involving HMRC will direct to you.
