| Description: | To provide employee benefit financial planning advice in a way that meets and exceeds the clients expectations while taking responsibility for fee generation and business development.
Roles/Responsibilities:
? Responsible for generating fee income by delivering employee benefit planning / investment advice to and managing relationships with a mixed portfolio of corporate clients
? When necessary, able to meet scheme members face-to-face and provide advice.
? Responsible for achieving fee opportunities through the delivery and advocacy of the Employee Benefits Investment Proposition
? Target specific markets for the purpose of fee generation and business development, as identified through an agreed Business Plan.
? Develop strategic alliances with appropriate external professional connections and with other departments within the firm.
? Provide technical expertise to partners, clients and other members of staff
? Motivate and coache team members and identifies training & development opportunities (as necessary), while providing feedback through regular communication and timely appraisals
? Be actively involved in office marketing events and an ambassador of the firm
? Be aware of the wide range of services the firm offers and suggests innovative products whilst pro actively identifying cross selling opportunities
? Undertake relevant training & development, as identified in order to develop both technical & personal skills
? Adhere to the firms risk management policies and procedures
? Carry out any other duties to meet with the needs of the business
Skills/Experience:
Previous experience in a professional practise and proven ability to generate credible client income in Employee Benefits
Educations/Qualifications:
A-Level or equivalent
FPC or Certificate in Financial Planning
Progress towards AFPC or Diploma in Financial Planning
Personal Attributes
Motivated and enthusiastic character with good leadership and business development skills. |
