My client is one of the most highly thought after Financial Services organisations in the world. The Head of Tax is now seeking to enhance the tax group by bringing on-board an experienced tax professional to augment its EMEA division. With in excess of 10,000 employees and a large and diverse tax group the company can offer unrivalled quality of work and scope of progression.
The role will see you manage to Group's EMEA tax compliance, incorporating corporation tax, VAT and employment tax. Alongside this you will be charged with managing tax accounting (current and deferred tax reconciliations and stat accounts), co-ordination of non group tax compliance oversight for EMEA, monitoring the regions transfer pricing and being the key point of contact on tax accounting matters for the rest of the business. Alongside this you will manage and support junior team members and play a pivotal part in their professional development.
You will be a qualified tax professional, with a 5-8 years of post qualified experience ideally gained within FS. The role will be a key hire for the team and you must have ambitions to match this fantastic organisations, be able to work autonomously when required and set extremely high standards of work. This role will suit someone who is extremely ambitious and with a thirst to develop themselves and add value to the business.
