One of the world's leading insurers is seeking to bring on a senior tax professional. Operating in over 30 countries and with revenue streams and assets under management into the billions this is a truly exceptional time to join this insurer who has managed to defy market conditions in recent years.
Due to expansion of their team my client is looking to bring an experienced tax professional competent with both corporate and life tax matters on-board. Principally the role will see you undertake high level compliance and reporting, reviewing work of junior members of staff as well as being hands on with the analysis. You will also provide tax support in relation to transactions and projects as they arise, monitor and manage the ETR and also aid the life tax area. Alongside this there will be liaison with HMRC and as tax becomes increasingly more high profile within the business you will be required to get involved with other areas, championing the role tax plays.
You will be CTA/ ACA qualified (or equivalent) with an exposure to tax within the insurance sector and in particular life tax. This is a fantastic opportunity within a leading financial services organisation with scope to progress and become highly involved with the business as a whole.
