My client is an international insurer with well in excess of 100 years of history behind it. Being involved in insurance, fund management and various investment activities. Within the UK the company has an enviable client base, being a leading general and life insurance provider to millions.
As Group Tax Manager you will report directly into the Head of Tax. The role will involve taking on responsibility for a variety of the company's tax matters, corporation, VAT and also life tax. This will involve high- level compliance, reporting and also a large amount of advisory work in relation to complex tax structuring and acquisitions. Alongside this there will be liaison with HMRC and as tax becomes increasingly more high profile within the business you will be required to get involved with other areas, espousing the impact of tax.
You will be CTA/ ACA qualified (or equivalent) with an exposure to tax within the insurance sector being highly beneficial. This is a fantastic opportunity within a leading financial services organisation with scope to progress and become highly involved with the business as a whole.
