In-House VAT Manager Global Commodities House £70k Bonus

Our client is a prestigious, international commodities business trading across Europe,USA, Middle East, and Asia. Privately owned they have continued to expand rapidly through their forward thinking and innovative approach which has enabled them to tap into new markets including LPG.

Reporting to the Head of Indirect Tax the Group Manger role is a key and highly visible appointment. You will work closely with the trading floor and will be interfacing at the cutting edge of the business. Your role will be broad and will include:-

-Advising traders on the VAT implications of trades
-Review the terms of prospective deals and contracts and considering the VAT implications
-Responsibility for Group Wide VAT Compliance Policy
-Pro-actively identify cash flow planning and earning opportunities
-VAT Compliance
-Training and mentoring junior staff

The successful candidate will be attracted by the high advisory element and opportunity to work for a large multinational which is expanding and able to offer you a structured career path. They are only interested in ambitious and talented professionals and you will currently be working for a Big 4 or multinational. Ideally you will be accountancy qualified and it is essential that you have trading or finance indirect tax experience.
