To aid their expansion they are looking to recruit a Head of Expatriate Tax to join their senior management team.
As Head of Expatriate Tax you will manage the Expatriate Tax Consulting Team in the delivery of Expatriate Tax advice and solutions to the company's Client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide strategic leadership to the Expatriate Tax teams to ensure clients receive the best guidance on tax options available and services to support their expatriate tax requirements. Ensure these services are provided within agreed terms and to the company's processes. Set and manage key performance indicators to achieve revenue targets, budgets and ensure quality of client services.
•Liaise with the Client/CSD/Business Development to gain a clear understanding of Client requirements and the terms for services to be provided by the Expatriate Tax team.
•Manage own portfolio of Clients, delivering timely advice and services as agreed with the Client.
•Ensure effective overall management of Affiliates in receiving countries.
•Identify potential business development opportunities for other services offered by the company.
•Ensure systems are in place such that Client services are progressed as agreed and that problems/issues are highlighted as early as possible in the process and managed to a positive outcome.
•Ensure the Expatriate Tax Team is committed and motivated to servicing client needs and that workload is effectively distributed throughout the team.
•Work with the Heads of section to develop services and processes such that the company provide the most competitive and cost effective product. Manage ad-hoc projects to this end.
•Keep abreast of developments in expatriate tax and regional issues that will impact the Client base.
•In conjunction with the Finance department, prepare and agree budgets and forecasts. Establish systems to review and control finances preparing contingencies as necessary.
•Ensure the prescribed processes for client documentation across the business are fully adhered to in line with country legislative requirements, SAS70, money laundering and internal procedures.
•Encourage continuous improvement of the company's offering by establishing systems that allow team members share their experiences, lessons learnt, systems and processes.
•Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to the Expatriate Tax Supervisor, ensuring he/she has the skills, motivation and ability to meet the challenges of their role.
Experience Required
•Experience of providing Client Advisory Services in and/or with an International Operation, preferably a USA technology Company.
•Familiar with start up situations across either/both EMEA or APAC.
•Working knowledge and Experience of advising Clients on Expatriate Tax issues
•ATT/ CTA/ ACA/ EA qualification or equivalent
