Based in London, our client seeks an experienced Head of Tax to join them on a 9 to 12 months contract to start in July. This job will suite someone who is immediately available and who has proven experience or operating as a Head of Tax for an inhouse tax team.
Company:
UK based company with strong international operations, particularly in Asia, wider Europe and USA.
Role:
·Manage the UK compliance cycle liaising with auditors and dealing with Revenue correspondence.
·Oversee and manage the tax reporting obligations for year end and half yearly reporting.
·Lead on the tax planning.
·Transfer pricing work is crucial to this role given the increase in international trade for this company.
·Managing a team of 4, 3 of whom are based in London.
Skills Required:
·It is essential to be either ACA or CTA qualified or equivalent.
·This role is suitable for someone who has operated as a Head of Tax or as an Assistant Head of Tax for a large company, where the company had international operations.
·As this is a varied role, it is necessary to show proven experience of managing the compliance cycle and tax planning and structuring projects.
·It is essential to have transfer pricing experience and to be confident in working for a company with a large international platform.
·Liaising with non-tax professionals on tax matters is key, therefore possessing strong communication skills. Equally strong management skills are required.
