Key areas of responsibility include maintaining and building relationships and developing new business opportunities by proactively managing existing clients and helping win new clients. You will have a detailed knowledge of VAT with several years planning experience. In addition you will have strong project management skills, enjoy team working, be adaptable and have a commercial outlook. The Indirect Tax team has broadly based skills (and includes professionals from accountancy backgrounds, as well as lawyers and CTA’s) and will consider applicants from a variety of different backgrounds. Joanna Longman is a VAT specialist and was previously Regional Head of VAT at one of the Big 4 firms before becoming VAT Director of a large local practice in the North West. She has been an active member of various chapters of the VAT Practitioners Group.
