Reporting to the Head of UK Taxation, an interim tax position of 6-9 month duration to assist with ongoing UK tax compliance, reporting and providing transaction support to the UK operations. The role will initially be based in London but when the department moves you can be based in Maidenhead/Reading.

The role covers a broad mix of compliance and transaction based work, and will suit a highly motivated individual with a strong UK corporate tax background.

Additionally, following the acquisition an acquiaition of a company by the parent group in late 2007 there will be a number of changes to the UK tax team including the appointment of a new UK Head of Tax. The interim position is required to assist in and provide a bridge for the handover of knowledge from the existing team.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to the Head of UK Tax.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

- Strong practical knowledge of tax compliance
- Experience of reporting under IAS
- Practical knowledge of CFC and DTR provisions
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confident and self- motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- ACA/CTA or equivalent
- 3-4 years PQE
