Our client, a leading independent firm, is looking for a number two to support the tax partner with an interesting range of mainly advisory work. This is a newly created role as a result of growth within the firm, which has an excellent client base of predominantly ambitious entrepreneurial OMB’s. You will ideally be ACA or CTA qualified but candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. You will also be experienced in a wide range of taxes (perhaps with a corporate bias) and have previous experience of advising OMB clients, in respect of their corporate and personal tax affairs. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a modern progressive firm. You will be self motivated and confident in your own ability and will also be expected to be actively involved in practice development.

Joanna Longman is a VAT specialist and was previously Regional Head of VAT at one of the Big 4 firms before becoming VAT Director of a large local practice in the North West. She has been an active member of various chapters of the VAT Practitioners Group.
