Our client has been serving from Dorset for over 100 years, and is seeking a tax specialist with broad knowledge of most areas of taxation to join their team, preferably with ATT and/or CTA. They are a traditional firm with a varied, predominantly rural, client base that operates to the highest professional standards and their well qualified, experienced team enables them to provide a first class service. Although their roots are firmly based in rural enterprises, they have the expertise to provide a comprehensive accounting service to all types of clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of tax clients and have the skills and knowledge to be able to deal effectively with most areas of the clients tax affairs, which will include keeping them informed of all relevant legislative changes and answering any queries they have in relation to their tax liability.
Work undertaken by the department includes:
- Self assessment
- Personal and corporate tax planning
- VAT
- Estate planning
- Trusts and executorships
This role would suit someone who is confident in working on their own initiative and is looking for a position where they can assume a little more responsibility in a very pleasant rural market town.
