This is an interesting opportunity for a qualified and experienced personal tax consultant with one of Manchester’s largest and most highly rated tax teams. Taking responsibility for all compliance matters relating to the portfolio (which consists of HINWIs, Directors and Partnerships) you will work closely with the current Tax Manager. The right candidate will demonstrate the ability to move into the Manger role within the next 18 months. Candidates should ideally be CTA qualified and have experience of dealing with a similarly high calibre of client. Ideally you will be approaching manager level in a Big 4 firm, or alternatively you will already be at this level. This role represents an excellent opportunity to experience interesting technical work together with genuine promotion prospects in a challenging and fun environment.

Joanna Longman is a VAT specialist and was previously Regional Head of VAT at one of the Big 4 firms before becoming VAT Director of a large local practice in the North West. She has been an active member of various chapters of the VAT Practitioners Group.
