An opportunity has arisen for a technical Personal Tax Manager to join this leading and friendly firm of chartered accountants. They are seeking an experienced tax specialist to cover maternity leave for the duration of 12 months, due to the continued expansion there is a view to a permanent option.

You will be working on a wide ranging portfolio of clients such as HNWIs, Partnerships, Onshore and Offshore Trusts and Professional Sole Traders. You will have active involvement in identifying planning opportunities and providing advice. The role will incorporate all of the complex aspects of looking after the tax affairs of a varied portfolio including property transactions, IHT and CGT planning as well as reviewing the work of 2 more junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate will be exam qualified or qualified by experience. You will have an excellent technical ability, previous experience of maintaining a portfolio of clients and the ability to work without supervision.
