Midsized firm with an international client base of middle market companies and high net worth individuals currently requires a senior tax specialist for a corporate role. The successful candidate is likely to have worked in one of the medium or large accountancy firms and be experienced in the tax issues affecting private businesses and their owners.
The role is very much one of client service and demands someone who has not only strong client handling skills and good technical depth in corporate tax issues but also an awareness of personal tax and VAT and the likely effect they have on client corporate tax and vice versa. Familiarity with non-domiciles is also helpful. There is a track record of individuals joining at this grade moving to partnership.
