The current economic climate has allowed this investment banking colossus to take advantage of investment opportunities across the world and their transactional work flow is still high and sustained. Tax has always been a highly valued function within the group and it is now been thrust even more so into the limelight as an additional way to make deals sweeter and improve bottom line.

Working in a team of 5 you will depending on your experience focus on real estate, private equity, or investment funds or indeed a combination. You will consider the tax implications of transactions on assets within the funds and will look at acquisitions, disposals, and re-financing.

Traditionally the team has recruited Big 4 ACAs with real estate or financial services experience who are looking to work in a more commercial environment, maintain the same if not higher quality work, and receive significantly higher financial rewards. This may be particularly attractive to Senior Managers who are frustrated with the politics of practice and are attracted by the potential to receive £six figure bonuses.
