Actively contribute towards building first class tax controllership team within Europe in this broad based role.
As the primary liaison with the Global HQ, European Controller and FP&A Manager, you will take responsibility for communication of quarter close, tax controllership deliverables, and coordinating joint projects across the European Finance team.
Additionally, you will work with European platforms and local country tax experts to automate preparation of non-US tax returns.
You will have experience of the below:
- BS in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent. MBA or Masters in Tax preferred.
- Extensive experience with Tax Department of U.S. multinational corporation, with focus on tax accounting and compliance and development of tax systems and processes
- Specialist in tax accounting principles of FAS 109 and substantial experience with accrual reviews and accounting for income taxes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as the role will require management of a pan-European team of professionals and effective collaboration with senior management and other business functions, particularly Finance.
- Proven ability to design and execute large scale projects in a complex environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience of U.S. international tax provisions and US tax reporting.
