One of the largest financial services group is currently significantly growing their tax function in UK and are now recruiting Senior Managers to work within the European General Insurance Tax Team.
With some recent key hires at Director level in London, this role is a great opportunity to learn off some incredibly experienced directors whilst giving you the opportunity to develop the role how needed. These are new positions and as such you won't be joining and then going through previous incumbents mistakes but will be given a blank slate!!
The Group has had some SOX and IFRS troubles in the past and as such this role will be required to make sure that the tax reporting systems adhere to all US GAAP and European GAAP legislations. The in-house controllers manage the preparation of the corporate tax returns so this role will be to build a relationship with them and manage the process.
You will need to be ACA/CTA qualified with either significant US GAAP, IFRS, SOX tax reporting and compliance experience or significant corporate tax compliance and reporting gained in a general insurance group.
