One of the largest financial services organisations in the world has a superb opportunity to join it's influential tax function. Operating within a highly skilled and progressive team you will support the Head of Tax Reporting in running the group tax reporting and forecasting process. The successful applicant will be provided the opportunity to assist in the design and implementation of change projects to streamline the group's reporting and forecasting processes.
In regards to the forecasting aspects of this new position, your core areas of focus will include the forecasting/monitoring of effective tax rate, forecasting UK tax payments, forecasting UK tax capacity as well as reconciling forecasts to actual results and identifying corresponding process improvements.
This role will be weighted towards forecasting but reporting will also be a prominent feature. In regards to the role's reporting aspect, the role will specifically include:
· The preparation of tax disclosures for interim and annual report, the preparation of reports to board audit committees
·Implementing processes to monitor, review and challenge submissions from business tax teams
·Coordinating reporting of intra-group transactions, eg surrender of capital losses, EUFT, group relief, group payment arrangement etc.
