The Role
We are looking to recruit a lawyer to specialise in share scheme work, sitting within the Tax Department. This is an interesting and challenging transactional role, and particularly busy due to the linkage with Corporate Finance activity. However, there is also a substantial amount of freestanding share scheme work. There is likely to be 2 strands to the role the design of share schemes and advising on the structure of schemes; and the implementation/drafting of schemes. There is an emphasis on the latter but the ideal candidate will be proficient at both.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience
- Ideally 2 - 4 PQE or equivalent in terms of experience/skill set (there is some flexibility on this)
- Be an existing share scheme specialist, with the majority of that experience being on UK share schemes
- Have a background with a good City firm
- Be proactive in approach and be able to work both in a team and individually as required
- Have excellent client facing skills
