An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Share Schemes Tax Advisor in-house. My client is a FTSE 100 business, whose team is undergoing a restructure. As past of this and the growth of the company, they require a tax trained share schemes advisor to join them in their offices in Middlesex. You will work closely with the international mobility professionals, so knowledge of the implications of international moves on share schemes is advantageous. Your role will involve:
* Supporting the IA and Share Plans teams on new outsourced processes and manage flow of hypothetical tax funds and payments from e-banking account.
* Liaising with overseas payrolls to ensure compliance in tax and social security reporting and withholding
* Act as a central point of contact for all finance charging and budgeting queries relating to the IA population
* Manage information flow between all parties (IA team, Share plans team, employees and the Big 4 service provider) to ensure UBS records are up to date
* Production and submission of UK HMRC tax returns, including form 42.
* Ensure data integrity for all tax compliance procedures
* Co-ordinate and make initial analysis of tax advice on share plans
* Working with the IA and Share Plans teams to co-ordinate the annual tax return processes and tax reporting (W2s, P11Ds, DRR)
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
* 2-3 yrs work experience
* understanding of share based plans
* ATT qualified, basic understanding of international taxation systems
* excellent team working skills
* computer skills (advanced Excel skills)
