My client is a leading financial services organisation has an urgent requirement for a permanent Compensation Associate. The role is truly broad and you will be involved in managing the bank's share plans, helping the finance department with statutory reporting, compensation MIS modelling and helping the expatriate team manage the tax season.
Reporting to the EMEA Compensation Manager, this position provides analytical and technical support to employees and managers on various compensation related issues including some advice around tax treatment.
Responsibilities:
* Management of the share plan on a day-to-day basis, responding to individual queries and preparing buy out valuation calculations as required
* Provide ad hoc and basic tax support to the Compensation and Expatriate teams including queries regarding modified PAYE, basic taxation of share plans etc.
* Provide day-to-day assistance with general compensation and benefits queries including queries from HR generalists, payroll as well as individuals within the organisation
* Provide day-to-day assistance with compensation related queries regarding new hires or terminations
* Gathering relevant people, compensation and benefit data as required by HR for specific projects and assistance with the delivery of packages during compensation round
Skills & Experience:
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to both work independently and in a team environment
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Good Excel skills required
* Financial Services experience required
* Strong ATT and/or CTA qualified
Ideally you will have 3-4 years experience within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm with a background in Expatriate Tax, Employment Taxes or Share Scheme Taxation.
