This is a newly created position for a Tax Accountant to join an established team of 12 tax professionals. The successful candidate will report directly into the Tax Manager.
The current team consists of experienced professionals able to offer support and guidance. This position would serve as an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to make their first move into commerce and industry.
Duties will include:
•Preparation and submission of the corporate tax computation and return for the Group.
•Payments of corporation tax including payments on account for all UK companies.
•Corresponding with and resolving complex queries with HMRC.
•Investigating overseas withholding issues and queries that arise.
•Review of all UK business to ensure management of tax risk.
About you
•A qualified accountant with a strong background in UK Corporate Tax compliance.
•Excellent interpersonal ability coupled with a willingness to build internal relationships.
•Strong accountancy and numeracy skills.
•Preferably a Big 4 background, although this is not an essential.
