This organisation is the world's leading insurance market providing specialist insurance services to businesses in over 200 countries and territories through 75 insurance syndicates. They currently require a specialist to take day to day responsibility for the tax of the Corporation and subsidiary companies, dealing with other internal departments providing advice on the full cross section of tax matters.

Major responsibilities include:
Prepare tax computations of Corporation and subsidiaries.
Prepare claims and elections as appropriate and monitor deadlines for submission.
Calculate quarterly instalment payments under CTSA.
Deal with UK PAYE/NI issues and implications for overseas secondees.
Provide on-going advice to other internal departments and overseas offices and subsidiaries.
Liaise with HMRC and external advisors.
Provision of tax figures for accounts of the parent and subsidiary companies.
Deal with ad-hoc CT and PAYE/NI advice on specific issues as they arise.

Ideal candidates will be ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified. Your core skills will be CT focused but with knowledge of employee issues. A general understanding of insurance tax regime issues and operations and the Lloyds market is useful though not essential. Communication skills are key to this role along with proven time management abilities. There is a continuing programme of personal and professional development and proven opportunities for career progression.
