Our client is a world leading industrial gas and engineering company, who seek a Tax Advisor to join their Surrey based team. This UK tax focused, in-house role, will also provide an opportunity for exposure to international tax issues.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing the CFC status for all overseas companies within the UK sub-group;
• Monitoring the UK sub-group’s foreign exchange position;
• Supporting the Head of International Tax and the Head of UK Tax with advising on all the UK tax implications of group funding transactions;
• Assisting on International project work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make their first move into an in-house environment, or looking to work within a larger corporate environment. You will have good UK tax technical skills and good accounting knowledge. You will also have strong communication skills and be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently.
