This multinational media services group offers an excellent opportunity for a Tax and Treasury Manager to join the London headquarters.
Working in a stand alone capacity and reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be capable of moving the role beyond basic compliance towards the design and implementation of tax planning strategies and implementing measures to reduce the groups cost of capital on the treasury side.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following:
Tax
- Manage all aspects of UK corporation tax compliance and liaise with external advisers on US and Dutch tax matters
- Oversee tax aspects of planned group legal restructuring in conjunction with external tax advisers to ensure tax planning opportunities are optimised
- Advise on group tax planning opportunities and liaise with external advisers on their implementation
- Improve the group tax reporting processes
Treasury
- Manage group cash and borrowings to minimise group finance costs
- Monitor bank covenants and manage compliance requirements in respect of bank facilities
- Work on ad hoc projects e.g. review of internal and external capital structures and review of pension funding alternatives
Suitable candidates will be strong communicators, with the ability to liaise with staff at senior levels. You will be forward-thinking and have the experience to work on an autonomous basis.
