A great opportunity has arisen for a Tax Assistant to join a “Top tier” firm of chartered accountants within their London Value Added Tax (VAT) group.
The role will involve assisting Senior Managers, Directors and Partners on advising clients on all aspects of VAT as well as undertaking research, information gathering and drafting letters detailing technical research. You will also be expected to work on both compliance and advisory work on a variety of projects and develop an understanding of the marketplace and the issues that affect it.
Ideal candidates will have a grounding or an interest in VAT and an ability to learn on the job as well as in specific training courses. They must also possess great communication skills and be able to form strong working relationships with staff and clients.
