Our client a FTSE100 has a rare opportunity to take on a senior compliance role that acts as a link between finance and group tax. The role is very much focused on UK corporate tax compliance and tax financial reporting which makes this a very unique proposition.
The role will include:-
-Preparing tax inputs
-Variance analysis of ¼ changes
-Balance sheet integrity review of the deferred tax balance
-Ensure continuous improvement in data integrity for key tax financial reporting processes
-Preparing compliance advisory notes
-Support the tax manager on planning projects
Given the nature of the role you will need to be a Qualified accountant with a high level understanding of accounting and internal control processes. As such it is likely that you have started you career as a financial accountant. You will be attracted by the opportunity to align this skills set to tax and will have options in the future of progressing within finance or tax.
