Our client is a niche tax consultancy that is looking to expand by taking on a tax investigations specialist.
This company has offices in London, Leeds, Ireland and Monaco. They have grown rapidly and are expanding their areas of business to include tax investigations, private client work and remuneration planning. This team employs a mixture of tax lawyers, tax advisors, former Inspector of Taxes and former bankers. The company is well run and highly profitable.
The tax investigations team is new and as such there is no limit to the potential within this role.
The work includes:
•Full and aspect enquiries.
•corporate Tax and also PAYE investigations.
•correspondence, negotiation and settlements with the Inspector of Taxes.
•Involvement in networking and marketing.
•All round advice to clients and internal colleagues on dealing with HM Revenue & Customs.
•Advice on risk management.
This role would suit a former Inspector of Taxes who is looking for a position with a reasonable amount of autonomy. This role could prove to be extremely lucrative as the firm in question pays extremely generous bonuses to good performers. It is also the chance to be at the beginning of a new practice
