Our client is seeking a Tax Investigations specialist with designs on a leadership role; this is ultimately an exercise in succession planning by our client, an International Tax Consulting firm and therefore the key skills and aptitudes of the successful candidate will be:
- An ability to and track record of building a business, through a network you can bring with you and existing international links internally.
- A good reputation in the tax investigations market in the UK
- Experience of effective management and practice growth.
This role will appeal to an individual who is not afraid to lead a team and who thrives in a very generous risk v reward environment. A Big 4 background is ideal, or a senior role in the Md Tier or law firms where you have beaten the Big 4 to assignments.
Especially in the light of current market conditions this is a role that will be filled with the right person rather than ASAP, hence if you feel the role would interest you but not immediately, I would still recommend an initial discussion, with a view to a suitable transition.
