This major manufacturing group attach a high degree of importance to their tax team and it forms the a focus for most key business decisions whether this involves short term projects or long term business strategy.

They require a Corporate Tax Manager to work as part of a head office team in a role that would suit and experienced tax specialist looking for their first move in to commerce. Specific duties include:
Management and review tax compliance for a number of group companies
Relationship management with HMRC, business advisors and group finance teams
Support the year end process and preparation of tax provisions for statutory accounts

Following an introductory period you can expect more involvement in planning work on a UK and international basis. Ideal candidates will be ACA /- CTA qualified with 2 years post qualified experience and a comprehensive knowledge of UK tax compliance. The tax team combines a dynamic approach with a relaxed and open working environment. Forming key relationships across the group will form a key part of the role.
