An interim role within one of the largest retailers in the country has arisen. Reporting to the Head of Tax & Treasury you will be responsible for all direct and indirect tax affairs for the group in the UK and overseas. As a Tax Manager this role will require somebody who is a highly experience Tax professional who can undertake the responsibility for the corporate tax compliance for the group. This includes working closely with the companies Top 4 advisors, managing the corporate tax accounting process and annual corporate tax returns in the UK, Ireland and overseas.
This role will attract great interest as it has so many different aspects including Tax planning projects including Transfer Pricing review, VAT compliance & planning. There are elements of custom duty work and accounting and system development to ensure satisfactory controls are in place for employee tax compliance.
This opportunity will be split between their offices just outside of London (NW) and their Central London office. It will therefore require somebody who is flexible with weekly travel. Along with strong professional qualifications, applicants must have extensive corporate tax experience within C&I, other key elements to the role will be the ability to organise and coordinate at the highest level.
