My client is an instantly recognisable brand name and constituent of the Fortune 500. With a large presence in EMEA the company has a well established tax team headquartered out of London and this is an excellent time to come on-board.
As Tax Manager you will work closely with the Head of Tax EMEA, principally working on UK tax matters, but also getting involved in international tax matters as they become increasingly important and the group's overseas liabilities increase particularly in emerging markets. You will take control of the management of the UK compliance cycle, take a pro-active and far sighted approach to spotting tax issues and risks within UK compliance and prepare VAT returns. Alongside this you will be involved with international tax planning and heavily involved in any M & A activity that the company undertakes.
You will be CA/ CTA qualified with an excellent understanding of corporate tax both in the UK and also internationally. This is an exciting and excellent time to come on-board and make a mark at a company with excellent opportunities to progress and grow as a tax professional.
In March 2008 Marks Sattin merged with its sister brand, Asia-Pac based WH Recruitment to create WH Marks Sattin, a leading global specialist financial recruitment firm. Each company has an established and an award winning reputation for excellence in the most competitive markets throughout the world.
The merging of both businesses represents a logical and progressive step forward for both clients and candidates. As the world becomes a smaller place, as organisations extend their reach across the globe and employee migration increases a recognisable and trusted brand required to fulfil both client and candidate needs where ever they may be.
Looking to the future, WH Marks Sattin intends to become the brand of choice all over the globe for financial recruitment.
