Manager required for Big 4 firm in Montreal within the Mergers & Acquisitions team (M&A). The team works closely with clients to offer advice on transactions related to acquisitions, mergers, disposal and restructuring. We now offer an enriching and challenging opportunity for a Tax Manager to join our M&A group.
You will be able to contribute to transactions from the proposal stage through to closing. You will work closely with teams including in-house professionals, other advisors such as lawyers and investments bankers. You will be able to work on a diverse client base, utilise your knowledge and skills build working relationships with the business community.
Experience required:
A strong technical tax background as a result of at least 4 years of experience advising emerging or multinational Canadian companies on their domestic tax strategy.
Experience of 8 to 9 years in corporate tax research, consulting and compliance in a professional services firm, industry, government agency or law firm.
