A senior corporate tax role has arisen at this large multinational at their northern home counties office. Despite the economic backdrop they see this market as an opportunity and have plans to undertake rapid expansion of their operations over the coming year. They are looking for an experienced tax manager to control the tax function and assist the FD to bring as much tax work as possible in house.
You will take responsibility for the Group's corporate tax from a compliance and advisory standpoint for the UK and EMEA region. Once compliance systems are in place, further responsibilities include the formulation and development of tax efficient structuring, acquisitions, disposals and financing structures in line with corporate activities.
A high profile position working closely with regional finance managers and external advisors, this position would suit a confident international tax manager with at least 3-4 years' corporate tax experience in a UKIMEA environment. Indirect tax and employee taxes knowledge are advantageous but not essential but a willingness to learn and develop an awareness of these areas is essential.
