Mike Longman (FCA CTA) was formerly an equity partner and Head of Tax in the Manchester office of Baker Tilly. He is a former Chairman of the Manchester branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Louise Gibson, a tax recruitment specialist who joined Longman Tax Recruitment at the beginning of 2006, deals with candidates from Tax Assistants to Senior Managers and recruits for clients right across the North of England. Louise, who is an Associate Director of the company, has worked in recruitment for ten years, and prior to joining us had several years' tax recruitment experience working in a large national agency (latterly handling all their professional tax recruitment in Manchester). Joanna Longman is a VAT specialist and was previously Regional Head of VAT at one of the Big 4 firms before becoming VAT Director of a large local practice in the North West. She has been an active member of various chapters of the VAT Practitioners Group.
