My client, one of the largest law firms in the world is now seeking a Tax Solicitor to support an expanding and busy team. They have a distinctive approach, quoted in The Times as a “real team environment.” The role will provide the opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of work, involving not only transaction support but also high quality tax structuring and advisory cases. Surrounded by some of the best corporate lawyers in the business, you'll get all the support you need, and all the responsibility you want.

You will have the chance to be involved in all aspects of corporate work: MBOs, MBIs, floats, joint ventures, takeovers, tax, governance and financial services to name but a few. What this means for you is that you would be joining a law firm where the action is red hot. You would be doing the most exciting work for the biggest clients. You'll be challenged, you'll be stretched, but we think you'll enjoy it immensely. The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the team in relation to the provision of strategic tax advice to clients involved with corporate, financial and real estate transactions and projects, and will be given every opportunity to assume principal day to day responsibility for transaction support work.

The ideal candidate will ideally have 18 months to 3 years post qualification experience in Corporate Tax and Real Estate Tax together with a strong City background. A good grounding in transaction support work in these areas will be essential, so that the candidate will be well placed to take on additional responsibility for such work and to get increasingly involved with the strategic tax advice provided by the tax team.
