The role will encompass providing and developing wealth structuring solutions for UK tax paying clients. The successful applicant will need to be a technical expert liaising with sophisticated larger private investors and their bankers.
Opportunity
A position exists to work with private bankers and fund managers to provide advice on a wide range of wealth structuring solutions to new and existing clients.
Reporting to the Head of UK Wealth Structuring, you will be part of an established team.
Responsibilities
§Supporting Head of Business on client cases
§To advise client on tax efficient structures e.g. life assurance wrappers, trusts and pensions
§To develop financial planning business working with private bankers to bring new assets to the Bank.
Qualifications
Tax qualified, ATT and preferably CTA (or studying towards)
The candidate will need to be FSA registered to give advice on life assurance and pension products.
Candidate Skills
The role will be client facing ? as a result the successful candidate will need excellent client skills with a proven track record in developing business.
Clients range from investible assets of ?2-3m to very wealthy clients seeking sophisticated solutions. The individual will require a strong understanding of UK tax.
The Candidate is likely to be working in a private bank or top tier independent financial advisor within an accounting practice.
