Ideally you will have experience of dealing with both partnership and corporate tax in a heavy client facing role; in this role you will be dealing directly with the partners both in the UK and abroad, as well as with external advisors. You will be working with the UK Tax Manager to co-ordinate the tax filing of individual Partners and have responsibility for Tax payments of Partners in all jurisdictions.
In terms of advisory work, you will be actively involved long term and strategic Tax Planning of Partnership in UK and other international jurisdictions as well as tax structuring and advice on International development and expansion.
Other responsibilities include:
Maintenance of Tax Know-how relating to role;
Development of Tax efficient structures of existing Partnership;
Manage tax implications of restructuring into LLP;
Preparation of year end tax provisions;
Overall responsibility for development of Tax efficient inter-partnership charges and billing;
Assist with the management of VAT compliance in all jurisdictions;
Co-ordination with Finance Managers in the international offices on tax related issues;
General advice on employee tax issues in UK.
Ideally you will be CTA qualified (or QBE), have very strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to undertake modest over seas travel.
