This role involves participating in transactions and being involved in all aspects of the Transaction Tax group's service offering, to include due diligence, structuring, modelling and the review of legal documentation. This will include:

Involvement in the transaction from inception to completion including
Attendance at data rooms to review the key tax information, calling on specialists where appropriate (eg payroll taxes and VAT)
Assisting with the liaison with the target's management and advisers in order to obtain the necessary information
Drafting the relevant sections of UK tax reports
Project managing input from other specialist teams and overseas tax teams, and performing the initial review of sections they produce
Preparation and review of tax models
Review of the tax aspects of legal documentation relating to the transaction
Exposure to targeting and corporate research
Keep Senior Executive / Assistant Director abreast of progress
Develop an internal network within Corporate Finance and Structured Finance
Produce, or assist in the production of, project budgets and timetables
Sound UK tax technical knowledge
Clear commercial awareness
Report writing
Strong project management skills
Excellent client relationship management skills.
ATT/CTA, ACA/ACCA or law qualification. 3 years of corporate tax experience or recently qualified accountant. Strong skills in writing/ presenting information.
