This global firm is looking to recruit a Manager or Senior Manager to join its transfer pricing and tax effective supply chain management (“TP/TESCM”) group team in Leeds. The team develops focused and innovative tax solutions in the area of transfer pricing and supply chain aimed at reducing their clients’ tax burden. They combine these with an emphasis on developing effective strategies in line with each client’s business plans and goals. You will provide input and technical support to many UK tax projects in addition to larger international stand-alone transfer pricing assignments. The firm’s client base is impressive and consists of large quoted companies, multinational groups and dynamic ambitious SME’s. The role will focus on building and maintaining consulting tax relationships with clients and providing high levels of client service, assisting in the development of transfer pricing policies, documentation and reports. Louise Gibson, who is also a Director, focuses on recruiting part / newly qualified tax staff and also Managers. Louise, a tax recruitment specialist, has several years experience gained whilst working in a large national agency (where she latterly handled all their professional tax recruitment in Manchester).
Gavin McBride joined us as our Regional Business Manager for Yorkshire and the North East in August 2007 when we opened our office in Leeds. Gavin is ATT qualified and was formerly a Private Client Tax Manager for a firm in his home town of Harrogate. He has twelve years tax experience in the profession working for both national and local firms in Yorkshire. Gavin handles candidates across Yorkshire and the Northeast. He covers a large geographical area and spends much of his time meeting candidates and clients from South Yorkshire up to the Scottish border. His motivation for moving from practice into tax recruitment was to use his experience of the tax profession to provide candidates and clients with a genuinely professional and personal service. Gavin is a committee member of the Leeds branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
