Despite a general air of quietude in the financial markets, tax is holding up very well in certain areas, not least Transfer Pricing. With a renewed initiative from HMRC to investigate TP issues within multinational businesses, especially if they have US operations, the Thames Valley office of our client is seeking extra help.
You will be a Manager or equivalent level currently, or else seeking a step up to this level which may have been frustrated by economic factors in your current firm/business. Your Transfer Pricing experience may include work for US businesses, but certainly should include economic analysis, supply chain review, documentation work and TP advisory projects. You will also be experienced in guiding the efforts of junior staff.
In return for these abilities you will be offered a role with one of the largest TP networks globally and a portfolio of clients second to none, inside or outside of London. Promotion and further progression is of course subject to performance but, as this is a relatively new area for the client to specialise in outside of London, there is plenty of 'head room' to move upwards if you are performing well.
If you are currently travelling to London from this area, the increased client exposure and Partner contact will be an additional benefit, on top of reduced travel costs and time.
