To work along side the Group Treasury manager, in providing provision of full Treasury Services to the Group.

Specific responsibilities will be:

Understand and be able to cover the dealing activity and cash management
Understand FX,MM and derivative trading.
Monitor Treasury policy and procedures to ensure compliance with the appropriate statutory, legal and regulatory requirements, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines.
Maintain bank and dealing mandates.
Set and monitor key metric indicators to reflect investment performance.
Monitoring the integrity of Group payment systems and controls
Review and update the Groups Treasury policy as required.
Assist in the development of borrowing and investment structures
Appropriate input into and review of Group's long-term cashflow forecasts.
Collation of reports for weekly Investment Committee meetings, including investment performance and FX exposure reporting.
Understand and be able to report all areas of Treasury accounting.
Developing and implementing strategies for management of foreign exchange exposure both externally and internally to the business Practices..
Reviewing introduction, making proposals & implementing as required dedicated Treasury workstations and/or management systems for Treasury department.
Managing the process for obtaining any necessary bank guarantees.
Be effective cover for the Group Treasury Manager.
Maintain good banking relationships.

The ideal person:

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of capital markets, money markets and foreign exchange markets, including respective products and derivatives. A sound knowledge of business and accounting theories. They will need to have hands on attitude and be willing to assist where necessary in all areas within Treasury. They will be a self starter, with the ability to use their initiative and be self motivated. They will need strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. They will need strong computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of Excel.
