Based in Guernsey, Channel Islands, our client is a leading private bank providing offshore trust services. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a professional and ambitious senior trust officer or manager to join its Asia Pacific/Middle East/Northern Europe/Israel team.
The role looks after the administration of a defined portfolio of complex client company and trust structures. The administrative tasks relating to the structures include attendance at client meetings; consideration of client requests both with regard to tax implications and risk assessment; arranging distributions and loans; review of legal agreements to be executed on behalf of client entities; drafting of Trustee resolutions and company minutes; attendance at board and trustee meetings when appropriate; liaison with investment advisors, asset managers and other third parties regarding client affairs as necessary; and review of annual financial statements.
The successful applicant will maintain consistent and continuous service across multiple client relationships and respond appropriately and promptly to clients' issues and requests. You will also identify and analyse problems and opportunities and have the ability to become part of the management team lending support and providing training to other staff members.
To qualify for this role you will be STEP or ICSA qualified with at least 4 years' trust administration experience, ideally with supervisory experience of junior members of staff.
