A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Trust Manager within this leading financial services organisation based in the Isle of Man. The successful candidate will lead and develop the trust company team and provide technical trust support, to both internal and external contacts, relating to products, taxation, legislation and business development in the UK and overseas. You will deal with non-standard, complex technical trust and tax issues and recommend appropriate courses of action to ensure best practices are established. You will also provide internal trust training to staff, identify, provide and analyse business opportunities / threats created by legislative changes and review trust literature items for sign off. Candidates will ideally be qualified at least to STEP foundation level and posses proven trust experience and have in-depth specialist knowledge of the offshore financial services industry. Due to the amount of internal and external contact the role requires, you will have a high level of communication skills as well as a commercial outlook.

Louise Gibson, who is also a Director, focuses on recruiting part / newly qualified tax staff and also Managers. Louise, a tax recruitment specialist, has several years experience gained whilst working in a large national agency (where she latterly handled all their professional tax recruitment in Manchester).
Gavin McBride joined us as our Regional Business Manager for Yorkshire and the North East in August 2007 when we opened our office in Leeds. Gavin is ATT qualified and was formerly a Private Client Tax Manager for a firm in his home town of Harrogate. He has twelve years tax experience in the profession working for both national and local firms in Yorkshire. Gavin handles candidates across Yorkshire and the Northeast. He covers a large geographical area and spends much of his time meeting candidates and clients from South Yorkshire up to the Scottish border. His motivation for moving from practice into tax recruitment was to use his experience of the tax profession to provide candidates and clients with a genuinely professional and personal service. Gavin is a committee member of the Leeds branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
