Besides a large number of owner managed businesses, their client base embraces a particularly large number of high net wealth individuals and trusts, both UK and offshore.
They currently have a need for a Trust Manager who will have a pivotal role within the team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced individual who will manage the firm’s trust client function which comprises a varied portfolio of several hundred trusts involving heritage property, quoted portfolios, private company shares, land and building etc.
The role requires an ability to manage the compliance side in organising the preparation of annual and ten year tax returns and where appropriate, accounts.
The background of the ideal candidate will is as follows:
v Technically excellent with at least five years trust or private client experience.
v Must be interested in technical developments and changes and keen to convey these ideas to trust clients and contacts as well as advising on setting up, closing and changes to trusts.
v Knowledge of offshore trusts would be helpful as our client has many non resident and non domiciled clients.
v Ideally you should be a STEP member or Chartered Tax Adviser or Chartered Accountant.
v Experience of leading a team dealing with trust work in a Private Client practice
