This key appointment will see you take early responsibility for managing the firms trust function. The portfolio will be varied and consist of several hundred trusts including heritage property, quoted portfolios, private company shares, land and building etc. Your previous compliance experience either in trusts or private client tax will be put to good use as you strive to lead this thriving team. Duties and responsibilities:
Managing the firms trust client function.
Responsible for compliance work in organising the preparation of annual tax returns and accounts.
Advising clients & contacts on setting up, closing and changes to trusts.
Dealing with both onshore & offshore trust work.
Candidate specification:
STEP, CTA or ACA qualified.
Significant trust or private client experience.
Ability to lead a team.
Knowledge of offshore trusts would be advantageous.
Commercial and hard-working.
